He advises of his membership of the Business and Professional American Legion Post in Austin, Texas but of his inability to be active during the past months, that he was in the infantry during the first World War and of the cooperation of TCU with national leaders in the present war effort. He expresses his appreciation for the reservation at the Hilton Hotel but advises that he may stay with Lewis Ackers while in Abilene.
