Hat of tan straw. The low, domed crown is of a basket-weave of straw with inter-woven plaits of straw, giving scallop or scale textures. Around the base of the crown, running along the sides and front, are clusters of artificial grapes and leaves. The narrow straw brim "waves" around the crown, undulating up and down. Hat of black felt. The low, domed crown of black felt is ornamented with a double-spray of black feathers at front. The brim, also of black felt, is turned up at front and turned down at back. The underside of the brim, which shows at front, is lined in black lace embellished with tiny black sequins and beads (jet?). The hat is unlined, with an inner hatband of black grosgrain ribbon. Attached to inner hatband is a small black plastic comb to secure hat to wearer's head. Maker's label sewn to inner hatband: "Grace Nugent / Los Angeles, Calif." Supplier's logo mark of Merrimac De Luxe Fur Felt stamped to inside of crown.

Gloves of yellow sueded cotton with tulip flower like wrists. Hands have seams on outside; running stitch in same yellow; wrist is wide; opening is similar to tulip flower petals, like reaching into the flower petals from the top. Label sewn inside right glove: "Gloves / Designed by / Lilly Dache". Stamped "6 1/2" inside right glove.

Maternity coat/jacket of black velvet with hem border of black silk embroidered in scroll and foliage motif. Embroidery at top of border is cut out along the top edge. Long sleeves; notched lapel. McCall's pattern 1124 to make a ruffled misses' apron, including illustrations of the finished pieces and information about sizing and construction on the back.

Hat of ultramarine blue felt. Based on a top hat, the cylindrical high crown has an undulating upper edge. Small brim curls up at front and sides, but curls down at back, ending in a point. Around base of crown is wide blue grosgrain ribbon which trails off back of hat. Inside of brim lined with black grosgrain ribbon. A thin black elastic strap goes around the back of the head to secure the hat. Label sewn into inner band: "Walter Florell / 29 East 53rd New York"

Hat made of white stitched, quilted cotton. Crownless. Hat constructed of circular piece with tucks at left and right back. Interior wire support covered with matching grosgrain ribbon. Maker's label: "Henrys / Dallas"

Hat of gray felt.

Hat of purple felt. The low, circular crown is mostly flattened, with a slightly undulating surface. Around the crown is a wide band of turquoise crushed silk jersey held in place by crossing bands of fuchsia pink and dark blue purple yarn. The wide, flat oval brim is set just slightly off-center to the crown, giving a wider brim in front than back. The hat is unlined, with an inner hatband of purple blue grosgrain ribbon around the inside base of the crown. Designer's label sewn to inner hatband: "Henry's / Originals / Dallas". This hat was designed to be worn with a skirt suit of Mexican homespun cotton designed by Adrian, accession number 1967.002.003.

Petticoat of ecru colored crinoline net. Full-length. Narrow ecru linen tape waistband with hook-and eyes at back and along back center closure. Wide hem of same net. Inner layer from waist to about knees, with ruffles at sides and back forming slight bustle effect. Inner layer with hook-and-eye closures also. No labels in garment.

Boy's one-piece playsuit of red cotton with blue, green, and white figures of boys riding scooters, wagons and tricycles. Patch pocket at right front. Elastic waistband at back. Shoulder straps button to front of bib. Bib lined in blue cotton and folds over top of bib to form tab trimmed with three white buttons.
