Many persons have walked away uninjured from accidents in which their cars received no more damage than the one shown above-but a city school teacher lost her life and another was painfully hurt when this car collide with another at NE 13 and Kate Tuesday morning. Mrs. W. Kyle of 2213 N Jordon was killed, and Mrs. Ruby Jean Clark, 35, of 1416 N Jordon, suffered head and other injuries. Both teachers at Lincoln elementary school, they were thrown from the car after the impact. Joe Rankin, accident investigator, said Mrs. Kyle was ridding in the front seat and her head was caught in the door when the two cars swung together after the initial impact."
