Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "A city's face is ever-changing and few areas in Oklahoma City express this so graphically as does the rolling terrain of the booming northeast area. Sparked by rezoning and a complete $2 million-plus rejuvenation of Lincoln Blvd., construction projects have been mushrooming steadily. The granddaddy of them all - the state capitol - is getting a pretty face and flanking it on the north are the white stone and glass capitol office buildings. At the northern terminus of Lincoln is what was then the city's first 3-decker interchange. And skirting through the northeast is the East Expressway which takes thousands of tourist between sprawling Lincoln Park golf links and another championship course at Twin Hills Golf and Country Club. Here too, are those famous pumping oil wells on the state capitol grounds. (Contrary to some reports, the oil rigs which make Oklahoma distintive among the 50 states are here to stay). Oklahoma City's "sometimes forgotten" northeast area glowing with a bright new spark."
