Photograph of terrace outlet channel under construction. Channel will be widened, shaped and sodded. Vegetation will be allowed to become well-established before terrace water is emptied into it. Terraces will be constructed in the field and will empty into channel from both sides. An erosion control dam was constructed across the draw in 1957 and in two years the land was producing crops. To date the draw has silted approximately by 5 feet, says Mr. Lucas. OK-8909
