Executive Correspondence – Letter dtd 08/05/05 to Chairman Principi from Senators Shelby (AL), Isakson (GA), and Chambliss (GA) as well as GA Representatives Gingrey, Bishop, Westmoreland and AL Representative Rogers expressing their concern regarding DoD’s recommendation to station the Infantry Brigade Combat Team at Fort Knox. The Senators and Representatives recommend that it go to Fort Benning which is better equipped to handle it.
