A letter written to Dr. Jeff Davis, Dallas, Texas, from the Secretary of the Taylor County Drys, dated June 10, 1941. The Secretary informs Davis of a meeting which was held pertaining to the question employing Judge Miller for legal assistance to secure mandamus proceedings on the liquor bill. He requests that Davis contact Miller to secure his services due to it being a statewide issue rather than county or district. He advises of an enclosure listing the names of ministers who were included in the meeting.

A letter addressed to the President of the United States, The White House, Washington, D. C., from T. N. Carswell, dated June 10, 1946. Carswell advises the President that on June 5 Dr. L. D. Newton, President of the Southern Baptist Convention, and others urged upon the President the advisability of the withdrawal of the United States representation from the Vatican. Carswell confirms that he is in full accord with that request.

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from E. M. Collier, Administrator, Hendrick Memorial Hospital dated June 10, 1952. Collier replies to the letter from Carswell dated June 5 in which he discusses ideas for permanently recording the names of contributors to Hendrick Memorial Hospital but interjects, "The more I think of this project, the more I realize there is a great deal of danger in what we are about to do."

A letter written to Mr. Carswell--Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from Evan Allard Reiff, President, Hardin-Simmons University dated June 10, 1954. Reiff acknowledges his receipt of the letter from Carswell asking him to inform the Convention nominating committee of his desire that someone replace him on the Board of Trustees. Reiff expresses his appreciation and that of the University to Carswell for his loyalty and interest in the school for more than forty years.
