Patent for a new and improved animal trap. This design consists in "the combination of the base-board having the opposite recesses and the transverse shaft, the yoke having the spring-coils mounted on the projecting ends of the shaft in said recesses, the standard having the holding-rod, the trigger, and the guards or prongs secured in the base-board" (lines 20-26).

Patent for a new and improved combined satchel and pillow. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with a valise or satchel, of an airbag permanently incorporated in the same to form one of the sides thereof, and having a mouthpiece upon the exterior of the valise, whereby the bag may be inflated without opening the valise" (lines 62-67).

Patent for a new bale tie buckle made of wire material "in which the buckle is closed by the strain or stress on the bale tie" (lines 11-14), including illustrations.

The radometer is a portable instrument for the measurement of the concentration of atmospheric radon/thoron in a test area. A constant velocity pump pulls the air from the outside at a constant flow rate. If the air is too moist, some or all of the sample is passed through a desiccant filter prior to encountering an electrostatic filter. The electrostatic filter prevents any charged particles from entering the sampling chamber. Once the sample has entered the chamber, the progeny of the decay of radon/thoron are collected on a detector and measured. The measured data is compiled by a computer and displayed.

Patent for a new and improved wagon brake. This design consists, "with the vehicle, of the rock-shaft arranged upon opposite sides of the rear wheels, the bell-crank lever fulcrumed on the body between said shaft, the rod connecting the rear shaft and one arm of said lever, the bar pivoted to the other arm of the lever and the front rock-shaft, and the operating lever provided with the integral arm arranged at an angle to the lever and connected with the front rock-shaft" (lines 92-101).

Patent for a new and improved vapor burner. This design consists, "with the mixing-chamber having a burner connected therewith, of a water chamber and an oil chamber arranged beneath the said mixing chamber, the threaded tube seated in the bottom wall of the water-chamber and extending up into the mixing-chamber, and the air-induction tube leading from beneath the oil-chamber up through the threaded connecting-tube to the mixing chamber" (lines 112-121).

Patent for a vehicle-indicator that is designed for use on vehicles such as automobiles, to indicate the movement of the vehicle. Other objects of this include that it alerts those around of the intended movement of the vehicle being driven.

Patent for a wheel-bearing that reduces friction between the wheel and axle, prevents dust from going inside the bearing, and keeps the bearing wheels in place at the bore of the wheel. The wheel bearing consists of a few parts that can be easily assembled and would rarely need to be repaired. The patent includes illustrations.

Patent for a washing machine with altered construction for quick removal and insertion of clothing, while still working safely and quickly with a variety of fabrics. It uses a rotary table and a pounder.

Patent for an improved water tank for livestock, connecting an elevated reservoir to a trough at ground level.

Patent for an optical device proposed to replace lenses and goggles. Instead of lenses, this device has circular shutters (much like a camera) that forces direct vision and eliminates peripheral vision for concentration and focus.

Patent for a grave-filling machine, which transports dirt into the hole of the grave.

Patent for "a stock-feeder which shall permit of the feeding of a measured quantity of food to cattle in the barn or stable from a point remote, so as to enable the farmer or any of the members of his family to feed the cattle from the dwelling without going out into the weather" (lines 7-13).

Patent for a new and improved pitchfork. This design "relates to a hand-fork for handling cotton in the seed and cotton-seed at the gins, as well as for other useful purposes; and it consists in the novel construction of the teeth and tines or head, together with the means for fastening the teeth to the head" (lines 9-15).

Patent for a ridable shovel with wheels that allows the user to control digging and dumping of scooped loads by footrest operation.

Patent for a new and improved shawl strap. This design "relates to shawl, book, and other straps, and has for its object to provide a cheap, simple, and efficient article, which can be used with packages of any size, and fastened thereto easily and quickly without applying buckles to the ends of the straps" (lines 8-13).
