Carswell discourses on his opinion of the appointment of Judge McGranery as Attorney General. Wingfield defends Col. Perry explaining that the Waco meeting at which Col. Perry was not present resulted in things done there that he and his committee did not agree to. He expresses his hope to see Carswell at the Abilene Club, the Paris Convention and then at Omaha in June.
