Throckmorton Street in Sherman, Texas [the Sherman City Directory incorrectly lists their house number as 910, but the number 810 can clearly be seen over the door frame] Louisa was the daughter of Erby "Erb" Boyd Prater and Katurah S. "Kitty." She did not marry until 1897. Samuel worked as a driver and Lou stayed at home as a housewife, possibly because of health issues (she was asthmatic). Other photos of the Prater family are also included in this collection.
