Damage to the house included boards and window screen broken, part of foundation and wall cracked and damage to a lamp inside. The car jumped the curb and traveled 56 feet before hitting the house."

The driver, A. Poyntz Haskins, Dallas, Texas, insurance man, was thrown out of the car and his body was charred by the blazing auto."
