Elizabeth mentions a recent trip to Baltimore and their Aunt Susannah Kendall.

Letter from Andrew D. Campbell of Glasgow, the first part of the letter is to Littleton D. Teackle, and it appears to be a copy written by a clerk as there is another letter in his hand with the same date with much of the same content written in the hand of Andrew D. Campbell. The second part of the letter is to Elizabeth Upshur Teackle, and Campbell announces his wedding to J. Maria Dunlop.

She gives an update on their garden and her cousins, who miss Elizabeth Ann. She also mentions some enslaved persons of the household, including Nany and Lucy, and says that Nanny's "little George" had passed while she was away.
