Uchikake

Wedding uchikake (padded hem kimono) of white polyester with large silver embroidery cranes, silver metallic thread lining, which shows at bottom hem, which is padded. Cranes in flight indicate younger bride, Long sleeves, indicating youth. Metallic lining is very modern, likely to have been made for tourist market. Corners of front retain protective covers which are taken off when worn.

Geta sandals

Pair of Geta. The sandals are straight last, with thick white plastic soles, having horizontal bands of orange in two shades. Orange and white straps to fit between toe and back to sides of foot. One with paper label on reverse. Came with original plastic bag with printing and snap closure.
