The tall building on the left farther south is the First National Bank. The tall building on the right to the south of Martin's was the Ragsdale Brothers Store, with the Opera House on the second floor. The second tall building in the left background was the J. A. Templeton Building. Trees line the street on both sides. A well is placed in the intersection to water horses and other beasts of burden. The street is full of animals pulling carts.
