Photograph of five men posing on horseback. Stables can be seen in the background with rooftops of many homes behind them. The men are wearing boots, white shirts, vests, and hats. A Rope is attached to the saddles of some horses. The man on the far left is Will Huffman, next is a man named Brown, in the middle is John Calvin (Jack) Christal, followed by Rufus "Ruf" D. Fry, and another unidentified man named Brown.

Head-and-shoulders portrait of Louisa Owsley in a light-colored blouse and dark hat. On the back of the photo is handwritten: "Dr. Louisa Owsley, Mother of A. C. Owsley, Sr., Grandmother of Clark, Lou, Stella, Eunice, Henry, Charlotte & Alvin. Louisa Owsley came here from Missouri in 1872 from Missouri with her husband, Dr. Henry Owsley, an allopath. She died in 1908." From newspaper articles, we have found that Louisa Owsley was born in Caldwell County, Kentucky in 1830 and died in Denton County in 1904. She was a midwife and homeopathic doctor.

According to the 1900 U.S. Census, Edgar Clark was born in May of 1870 and living with his widowed mother and siblings at the Clark home located at the corner of Center (which is now Carroll Blvd) and Mulberry streets in Denton, Texas. His occupation was listed as "bartender." James "Ed" Edwin Reed was born in California on February 22, 1871 to Myra Maybell Reed, who later became known as Belle Starr. He was shot and killed in Claremore, Indian Territory [Oklahoma], on December 14, 1896 while attempting to arrest two men - J. N. Clark and Joe Gibbs - charged with peddling whiskey. He was previously a deputy U.S. Marshall and was known for the killing of two outlaw brothers in Wagoner, Oklahoma: Zeke and Dick Crittendon. A note written on the back of the photos says" Aunt Kanie married Bob Wright; Mattie married Wesley Curry; Otis married Elvira McCracken; J.S.J. married Ida McCracken; Gus married (no name); Marmaduke was brother of W. C. Wright. The name Effie is handwritten at the top, so we assume that the photo belonged to Effie Wright.

The Frazier Home on 44. E. Sycamore, just near the Alliance Mill. Built in approximately 1892, the house was a two-story frame house. William and Fannie A. Frazier are standing on the front porch. According to an article in the September 1, 1892, of the Denton County News, Mr. Frazier had just built the house and noted that he was the (locomotive) engineer on the "Dallas & Henrietta".

This is based on the fact that the people listed on the back are Minnis & Madden and Curtis is not listed.
