The Perceptions literary journal of Howard Payne University includes original student works of non-fiction and forums of faculty and student exchanges. This issue contains a keynote essay by the university’s president, Don Newbury, and student essays on Shakespeare’s Macbeth and the Romantic Era.

The very last page contains a quote by John Keats, from "The Fall of Hyperion," and a student drawing of an angel.
