Postcard from L. A. to Mr. Will L. Henkle, thanking him for sending something, and discussing Texas's pretty landscape. The front of the postcard features a photograph of Holy Angels Academy in Boerne, Texas, a two-story building with wrap-around porches on both stories. There is a small tower extending from the center of the roof of the building, with a cross-shaped spire at the top. There are a few short steps leading up to the first-story porch and the front door to the academy. There are several trees surrounding the building, obscuring much of the second-story.

The image in front of the postcard shows a house in the background. On the right side of the postcard from the middle ground to the foreground there is a body of water. To the left side of the postcard in the foreground is a tree and a trail that recedes to the background. On the bottom of the postcard is printed the following: "A Quiet Corner, Burnett Woods, Cincinnati, Ohio." On the back of the postcard is handwritten text. On the top left corner is the Excelsior logo.

A horse carriage with two figures is coming out of the park. Behind the carriage are three visible figures. To the sides of the road are trees and grass. Underneath the image is printed the following: "Entrance to Eden Park, Cincinnati, O." At the bottom of the postcard is illegible handwritten text. The postcard is addressed to Miss Mamie in Beaumont, Texas.
