Photograph of Allen family seated on rocks during their donkey ride in Mineral Wells, Texas. They sit in a row on rocks and a fallen tree trunk in a rocky outcrop, each dressed nicely and with hats in their laps, except for Dr. J. W. Allen whose hat is on his donkey's head behind them. All look face forward except for Dr. J. W. Allen who looks towards Dr. Frances Daisy Emery Allen. The camera in his lap also faces her. Five donkeys stand behind the group. The photograph is mounted on gray cardstock which has a stamp at the lower left corner reading, "Judson McClure / Mineral Wells Texas,." A very faint inscription on the back reads, "Mrs. C. Emery."
