The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Albert Lawrence Wile. Wile joined the Army in 1943. He completed Cook School, and worked as a cook at Fort Meade and Fort Eustis. In late 1944, he traveled to Cherbourg, France and Belgium, working with the 1591st Labor Supervision Company. He assisted with coordinating German companies in cleaning up after the war, rebuilding roads and picking up artillery shells. Wile continued in the Army after the war, completing 30 years of service in the military.

Interview with Travis Womack Jr., a Army WWII veteran from Marshall, Texas, who served with the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division. Womack discusses his family, education, basic and airborne training, deployment to Morocco and movement through North Africa, the invasion of Sicily, the Battle of San Pietro, the Anzio campaign, going to England, marrying, fighting in Operation Market Garden, the Battle of the Bulge, disguised German troops, and the end of the war. In appendix is a detailed account of the Italian campaign written by Womack.

[Liturgical Calendar Leaf from a Book of Hours 14th Century, France or the Netherlands?]
A leaf displaying the month of November from a liturgical calendar within a Latin Book of Hours. The text indicates so-called "Red Letter" days. This particular Book of Hours was designated use of Sarum (i.e. Salisbury Cathedral) and was bound in France or The Netherlands in the 14th-century most likely for the English Market. Of particular interest is the appearance of "Euduardi Regis" referencing King Edward the III of England [1312-1377].
