According to the preface, this bibliography presents selected English-language articles, books, and other printed and electronic sources that are useful in understanding scholarly electronic publishing efforts on the Internet. Most sources have been published between 1990 and 2006; however, a limited number of key sources published prior to 1990 are also included.

This is a report request by TxDOT to other local and regional offices responsible for planning, designing, building, operating, and maintaining the Texas' transportation systems. In accordance with TxDOTs' vision of Texas' transportation future by reducing congestion, enhance safty, expand economic opportunity, improve air quality, and increase the value of transportation assets.
