This video is composed of digitized slides and musical accompaniment that were used to promote the North Texas State University School of Music. The slide show consists of segments that discuss the school from the perspective of the university president, an introduction to the university community, the value of the program from the perspective of the Dean of the School of Music, the Music Library and other resources, teaching faculty, performance groups available on campus, and the availability of live performances on and off campus. The slide show begins with images and a performance by the NTSU symphony orchestra as well as images of students practicing and studying. The second segment includes images of and narration by university president C.C. "Jitter" Nolan about the value and importance of the music program and the President's Award which was given to the symphony orchestra as conducted by Anshel Brusilow and the One O'Clock Lab Band under the direction of Leon Breeden.
