The film begins with the group traveling on their tour bus for the first round of the contest with stops in Marshall, Gladewater, Kilgore, Greenville, Longview, Jacksonville, Lufton, Nacogdoches, Rusk, Henderson, and then La Porte on March 4, 1952. Footage includes the LCD at the La Porte Theatre performing at segregated schools, visiting with Johnny Hicks, and touring the San Jacinto Monument (01 min., 38 sec.).
