Video recording of Spring 2023 College of Music commencement ceremony at the University of North Texas. The ceremony began with an organ musical performance by Destin Wernicke, followed by the processional of graduates and introductory remarks by James W. Richmond (dean of the College of Music). The National Anthem was performed by Hawkins Burns and Jimin Seo. Michael McPherson (provost and vice president for student affairs) then spoke briefly. The keynote speaker was Daniel Sher. After that, there was a musical performance by the Quasar Trombone Quartet (composed of Connor Altagen, Connor Fallon, Kyle Husby, and Joseph Polanco). The ceremony concluded with additional remarks by Daniel Suda of the UNT Alumni Association and the recessional of graduates.
