Letter from D. W. Kempner to E. B. Padrick acknowledging the receipt of an application for a Rail Travel Card and requesting Mr. Kempner to fill in and sign a short form of contract to guarantee payment for services secured on the Rail Travel Card. Two copies of the contract are enclosed with the letter. He also assures that the Rail Travel Card will be sent to Mr. Kempner upon receipt of the signed contract and expresses confidence in the convenience the card will provide.
