A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas,, from Jeff Davis, Executive Secretary, United Texas Drys, dated February 24, 1943. Davis advises of the date set for the San Angelo field day to be in late March, that the date is a result of the current Wichita County work. He touts the Rio Grande Valley trip as his most profitable. Davis advises Carswell that he will write P. D. O'Brien but is unsure of success there noting that O'Brien has a hard situation in his church stating, "they have been able to intimidate every pastor they have had".

Davis lists potential speakers for the Abilene field day suggesting that Carswell might secure Dr. White and a speaker from McMurry or ACC. He advises that Bishop Boaz has already agreed noting that last year Bro. Douglas Carver had requested Boaz.
