The present study is an attempt to determine the effect of anxiety, hostility, and depression on responses to the Rotter Incomplete Sentences Blank when it is scored according to the manual instructions. Whether the score fluctuates or not will have implications on how psychologists should use this test as a diagnostic tool.

Three stages in the poet's progression toward an affirmation of an ideal woman are suggested and described.

The increased demands of the citizens of each state upon their state governments for better education, highways, and increased protection are reflected both in the expansion of the agencies created to provide these services and, in turn, in requests for funds in ever increasing amounts to expand the scope of the services. The ability of a state to fund each agency's request is definitely limited; no state is sufficiently wealthy to grant every request. Rather, a state must make some judgment in the distribution of its limited resources (money) among competing and demanding sources. This requires planning and is called budgeting, which one writer has defined as "one of the major processes by which the use of public resources is planned and controlled."

The difference between mothers' and fathers' self-concept scores is nonsignificant. 2. Parents have higher self-concepts than their children. 3. This thesis is concerned with an examination of modular-flexible scheduling and the attitudes and opinions of industrial arts teachers employing this type of scheduling.

The purpose of the study was to examine categories of self-actualization and specific biographical and developmental factors from the data on 225 individuals selected from top and middle management by psychologists with Rohrer, Hibler and Replogle, international firm of management consultants. The investigation was designed to determine if differences existed for the two groups.

The present study has a threefold purpose. First, it will attempt to investigate whether the presentation of the bogus group norm is effective to exert influence on an individual subject to modify his original response in the direction of the norm. Secondly, it will investigate relationships between the subject's level of test anxiety and his conformity behavior in the simple judgmental situation. Thirdly, it will further explore whether test anxiety, as measured by a questionnaire, and low self-esteem, as measured by feelings of personal inadequacy, are comparable constructs.
