The writer purposes to discover the types of stories that appeal to the interest and imagination of children of the third grade, and to determine whether the literary qualities and the dramatic possibilities of the stories are within the understanding and ability of the group.

The problem chosen for investigation was to attempt to determine the relationship of children's attitude toward some social problems and their personality adjustment.

There are two major purposes of this study. First, it will attempt to ascertain whether self-concept, as measured by a self-concept scale, will fluctuate significantly due to a recent ego inflating or deflating experience, and if so, how lasting and in what areas are the effects. Secondly, it will note whether or not the low self-concept individual is more susceptible to changes in self-concept due to these environmental changes than the high self-concept individual.

The problem of this study is to interview some personnel managers that use psychological testing in personnel selection and compare their responses to the recommended use of effective testing as presented by some professional psychologists.

This study has a twofold purpose.
