A letter addressed to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from Walter H. McKenzie, Executive Secretary, United Texas Drys, dated March 13, 1944. McKenzie refers to writing and asking a question but that, in reply, Carswell only acknowledged his receipt of the letter and the suggestion made. He requests an answer from Carswell, to write about how he feels, regarding joining up with him. The reverse side includes a printed map titled "Local Option Status of Texas by Precincts, Status as of December 31, 1943.
