Document written by UNT College of Visual Arts and Design Texas Fashion Collection director Myra Walker as part of a university award recognizing outstanding staff members. The essay, titled "Edward the Great," outlines the ways that UNT Special Collections librarian and TFC collection manager Edward Hoyenski supported and advanced the TFC from 2011 through when this letter was written in the spring of 2014.

A short video combining still and motion footage documenting the move of the Texas Fashion Collection from Scoular Hall to the Welch Street Complex I. The video includes footage of the new site being cleared after demolition of the Church of Christ, construction of the Texas Fashion Collection section of the new facility, the arrival and placement of the modular sections, and general preparation of the new facility. Activities include inventory work, packing materials and preparing racks of garments for the move, of wrapped racks being loaded on and unloaded from trucks, and items being unloaded in the new facility. Still footage of packed areas of Scoular and new classrooms in Welch Street I are also included.

Clear glass axe or hatchet, made at the Libbey Glass Company display as a souvenir of the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition. One side of blade with relief inscription "World's Fair / 1893"; other side of blade with relief portrait of George Washington, and inscription "The Father Of His Country". Handle with relief inscription near base: "Libbey Glass Co / Toledo, Ohio."

Maternity dress of dark red woven wool trimmed with twisted yarn rope at neckline which extends to form a tie; tassels at ends. Short sleeves; double welt pockets at sides. Center front button closure to hem. Lined in red synthetic.

Maternity coat/jacket of black velvet with hem border of black silk embroidered in scroll and foliage motif. Embroidery at top of border is cut out along the top edge. Long sleeves; notched lapel. Center front closure of self covered buttons with bound buttonholes. Lined in black cotton; shoulder pads. Designer label: Page Boy / Dallas

Maternity coat of red/orange wool jersey knit in trapeze inspired style. Notched lapel with black velvet collar; knee length. Long sleeves have vented cuffs trimmed with two small black buttons. Center front closure of five black plastic shank buttons and oval buttonholes. Back half belt with two black buttons matching front closure. Unlined. Designer label: Page Boy / Dallas

Maternity dress of dark blue and brown hounds-tooth blend(?). Tea or street length; short sleeves; Peter Pan collar. Closure of three self-covered buttons at front yoke. No waist; front and back of dress with narrow pleats which fall from yoke; side panels are not pleated. At each side of bust is a bow of self. Unlined, with small bra strap/snaps. Maternity blouse of gray mélange wool jersey. Bateau neckline with detachable knitted collar in gold, gray and ivory. Center front opening of four self-covered buttons with bow of matching fabric at base of opening. Elbow-length sleeves with closure of two self-covered buttons. Angled welt pockets at sides. Maternity evening/dinner skirt ensemble. A) Maternity blouse of black synthetic with empire bodice of light blue satin with narrow shoulder straps. Blouson overblouse of black net is attached at hem of under blouse and comes up over neckline and arms; sleeveless armholes and neckline of black satin forms ties in back. Center back closure on under blouse has three self-covered buttons on bodice and zipper on lower blouse. Designer label: Page Boy / Dallas B) Kangaroo skirt of matching black synthetic covered in black net. Straight style; below knee length.
