Presented at the 24th Western Area Conference, this booklet contains reports of chapter activities of the Western Area division related to the arts, service to youth, and national and international issues of concern. The conference is a biennial meeting of chapters of The Links, Inc. located in the western United States. The theme for this year's conference is "The Arts Are Where You Are."

In honor of the 50th anniversary of The Links, Inc., this book collects brief histories and reports of the organization's local chapters from 1946-1996. It was presented at the organization's 30th National Assembly, and its theme is "Linkages...Toward the Possible: Celebrating 50 Years of Friendship and Service."
