Interview with Jerry Phelan, an employee of Kaiser Permanente from Pasadena, California, who worked on the Kaiser-Prudential joint venture in Texas. Phelan discusses his background with Kaiser, people who developed the Kai-Pru program, and his own roll therein.

Interview with Yuri Fukui, a second generation Japanese-American from Oakland, California, about her experience pursuing higher education during the attack on Pearl Harbor and subsequent internment. Fukui discusses the discrimination she experienced in her daily life, struggles faced by her parents, who owned a local business, and life in the internment camps.

Interview with Alan Taniguchi, former Dean of Architecture at UT-Austin and a Japanese-American internee during WWII, from Brentwood, California. Taniguchi discusses his family and childhood, experiences of racism, the attack on Pearl Harbor and its effects, having his home raided by the FBI, his father's detention and that of Japanese community leaders, preparing for internment, moving to the Gila Relocation Camp in Arizona, life there, leaving the camp for resettlement in Detroit, and life afterwards.

Interview with Bruce Elliot, a Navy veteran and POW from Montezuma, Kansas. Elliot discusses his family, joining the Navy and volunteering for Asiatic service, the start of war and the bombing of Cavite Navy Yard in the Philippines, retreat to Corregidor, capture by the Japanese, escaping internment on Palawan and joining Moro guerillas, sabotage, linking up with Australian forces, evacuation to Australia and returning to the United States, becoming a deepsea diver, and Korean War service. In appendix are a photo of Elliot, a map of the Philippines, two photos of a POW camp on Palawan, and a photo of three of his comrades.
