Interview with Dennis Dunkins, African-American alumnus of North Texas State University. The interview includes Dunkins' personal experiences of childhood and education, enrolling in North Texas, majoring in Industrial Technology and his graduation in 1963, having a career with General Motors, as a business owner, and with Fort Worth ISD. Additionally, Dunkins speaks about off-campus life in "Shack Town" and support from black citizens of Denton, social life among African-American students and relations with white students and faculty, efforts to desegregate public facilities in Denton, and his summer jobs with Texas & Pacific Railroad Company. The interview includes a photograph of the University of North Texas Trailblazers in 2005.

Oral History Interview with Betty Kimble, December 8, 1987

Interview with community activist Betty Kimble from Denton, Texas. In the interview, Kimble discusses her experiences concerning the activities of the Denton Christian Women's Inter-Racial Fellowship during the 1960s and 1970s. She recalls memories from her days as a student both in East Texas and at North Texas State College. Kimble recollects the many events that concerned the desegregation of the North Texas State College and the City of Denton alike, which included student and citizen protesting that mostly supported Denton's strong white power presence. She recalls the desegregation of public restaurants, the street-paving of the African-American section of Denton, and voter registration changes. Kimble also comments on influential civil rights activists including Tennyson Miller and Abner Haynes.

He discusses his educational background, his employment with Standard Oil of California, his early experiences in refinery construction, his transfer to Caltex, his assignment to Bahrain, refinery construction in Australia (Boral, Ampol), refinery construction in Japan, and the relationship between Caltex and Nippon Oil. He also talks about military fuel oil contracts, postwar refinery expansion, Caltex East, Caltex in Korea and the Philippines, executive transfers, the decision of Texaco and Socal to re-enter the European market in 1967, crude purchases, and OPEC.

Interview with former member of the Texas House of Representatives H. Grady Perry, a journalist from Stephenville, Texas. Mr. Perry is also a brother-in-law to former Governor Coke Stevenson. In the interview, Mr. Perry recollects his thoughts and experiences while serving in the Thirty-seventh Legislature.
