ST JOHN'S Cemetery: A report detailing how Denton County Commissioner Hub Clark stole a cemetery from a Pilot Point freedpersons community in 1938.
This report was submitted to the Denton County Commissioner’s Court on December 12, 2023. The independent research contained herein was inspired by a collaborative community effort to highlight the emerging historical narrative of the St. John's freed-persons community of Pilot Point, its unexplained disappearance in the 1930s, and the events that led to the community's cemetery becoming landlocked and inaccessible to the public for more than eighty years.

Optimizing the User Experience in a Rapid Development Framework: Denton County Genealogical Society: Initial Usability Test Results, August 2008
This report presents the findings of usability tests given as part of the IOGENE project. During March and April of 2008, members of the Denton County Genealogical Society participated in usability testing of the existing interface to the Portal. The purpose of the testing was to identify ways in which The Portal to Texas History could be improved to better address genealogists' needs. This report tells the findings from those tests. These findings in conjunction with the findings from focus group discussions held in the spring of 2008 will inform the initial redesign of the Portal's interface.

The Denton plan 1999 - 2020 comprehensive plan of the City of Denton
The report describes comprehensive plan is to translate a vision statement and planning policies into meaningful actions to benefit the entire community. The plan describes the steps city government will take to protect public health and safety, to provide services efficiently and effectively, and to provide the quality of life that our citizens expect. The report expresses community sentiments and values for all to see, and implementation success is dependent upon support and consensus. The report also describes policies, followed by goals and strategies that lead to implementation statements (see Implementation Element). Special sections of the plan such as Land Use, The Street, Urban Design, Schools, and The Edge provide further information regarding design or other issues not covered specifically within the plan elsewhere. These sections are intended to give more specific direction or information than other sections of the plan. These sections may not be formatted exactly like the remainder of the document for this reason, although they generally follow the same pattern as the remainder of the plan.

A brief history of the PUREX and UO{sub 3} facilities
The Plutonium-Uranium Extraction (PUREX) Plant, conceived during the early Cold War years, was a vehicle to increase significantly US nuclear weapons production capacity. The original PUREX Plant was a concrete rectangle 1,005 feet long and 61.5 feet wide. The shielding capacity of the concrete was designed so that personnel in non-regulated service areas would not receive radiation in excess of 0.1 millirem per hour. This report discusses the design of the PUREX Plant, the production chronology, projects and equipment changes, equipment decontamination and reuse, waste management, and contamination events that have occurred during the operation of the plant. Additionally, the development and history of the Uranium Trioxide Plant are also covered.

Plutonium production story at the Hanford site: processes and facilities history
This document tells the history of the actual plutonium production process at the Hanford Site. It contains five major sections: Fuel Fabrication Processes, Irradiation of Nuclear Fuel, Spent Fuel Handling, Radiochemical Reprocessing of Irradiated Fuel, and Plutonium Finishing Operations. Within each section the story of the earliest operations is told, along with changes over time until the end of operations. Chemical and physical processes are described, along with the facilities where these processes were carried out. This document is a processes and facilities history. It does not deal with the waste products of plutonium production.

Optimizing the User Experience in a Rapid Development Framework: Functional Requirements for The Portal to Texas History
This report includes the results of an initial assessment of genealogists' requirements for the redesign of the Portal's interface. The UNT Libraries received a National Leadership Grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services for a two-year project to identify the user interface requirements of genealogists interacting with the libraries' Portal to Texas History. The IOGENE project involves genealogists in the design process beginning with the initial assessment of their requirements and continuing through usability testing of the redesigned Portal interface.
