Interview with Exie Jean Alaman Morne'y, a teacher from Fort Worth, Texas, who lived during the end of the Jim Crow era. Morne'y discusses her family background, attending grade school in Fort Worth, experiences with segregation and discrimination in the 1950s and 60s, attending North Texas State College, working at Parkland Hospital, her marriages and children, moving to California and back to Texas, her career with Fort Worth ISD, church activities and faith, thoughts on child education, and various related stories. In appendix are photos of her high school yearbook and her family, a petition from the Como neighborhood for utilities services in 1924, and her typed family history.

Interview with banker and Navy veteran Bennie G. Snider. The interview includes Snider's personal experiences about the Pacific Theater during World War II, youth and education in Denton, Texas, joining the Navy, and boot training and electrical engineering school. Snider talks about duties aboard the USS Hancock, his assignment to Task Group 58 and the invasion of the Philippines, as well as the invasions of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, kamikaze attacks and the Hancock being hit by a kamikaze, burials at sea, and his postwar duties aboard the Hancock as part of Operation MAGIC CARPET.

Interview with Wanda Marie Fannin Henderson resident of Kerrville, Texas. She mentions that her husband Temple Henderson's ancestors came to Kerr County from Tennessee. Mrs. Henderson relates how she ended up in Kerrville, focusing on her family history and immediate family's various activities, including 4-H and other agricultural activities. She mentions her childhood asthma, identifies local businesses and areas of interest, and details her involvement in the community. Prior to the interview transcript is a written memoir by Mrs. Henderson.
