This is a retelling of the story of three friends by Naik Muhammad (a 42-year old male) with Muhammad Awaiz (a 32-year old male) as the listener. In this story, the three friends once found some money and decided to divide it among themselves. However, each one of them was trying to cheat the others. Finally, no one gets the money and all three end up dead.

Topics covered include: Schrader's early years in the Midwest, the story of how she came to be a member and then employee at the Cathedral of Hope, social and charity programs administered by the Cathedral of Hope, and the growing Latino membership at the Cathedral of Hope.

The caveat is that the man cannot take all three in one go. (Note: the narrator inadvertently refers to the goat as a jackal in the beginning). In this recording, the speaker Naik Muhammad (a 42-year old male speaker who works as a driver) is addressing Muhammad Awaiz (a 31-year old male government servant).

This is a retelling of the story about seven brothers and their sister by Muhammad Awaiz (a 32-year old government servant) with Naik Muhammad (a 42-year old male) as the listener. In this story, the brothers get separated from their sister and the latter is searching for them. The sister finds her lost brothers in a forest but the brothers cannot recognise her and each one of them wants to marry her. When the sister lets them know that she was their sister, they drop the idea of marrying her.

Oral history interview with Aurora F. Soto de Law. Topics covered include: her religious upbringing in the Southern Baptist church, her attendance at the Cathedral of Hope, her failed marriage to a man, her romantic relationships with women, and the illness and death of her longtime female partner whose memorial was held at the Cathedral of Hope.

Oral history interview with Roger Poindexter, Jr. Topics covered include: Poindexter's upbringing in Virginia, his coming out to his family as gay, his career at EDS, how he became a Cathedral of Hope member, his service on the boards of the Turtle Creek Chorale and Lambda Legal, discrimination he's faced as a Black man, his role models, and his goals for the rest of his life.

The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Julius Spelce. Spelce joined the Navy in May of 1944. On Manus Island, he was assigned to a floating dry dock, USS ABSD-2. Spelce served as Petty Officer Third Class with the deck force, conducting repair work and serving as a cook, where he remained through the end of the war. They provided service repairs to large and small ships. Spelce recalls their vessel being torpedoed in April of 1945. He received his discharge in July of 1946.

The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Elaine Osborn. Osborn was born in 1932 in Freeman, South Dakota and had just turned 9 years old when World War II began. She shares memories of civilian life during the war, and living in a Mennonite Community during the Great Depression. She had 5 uncles and 2 cousins in the service. Osborn recalls community building between farmers to help feed and care for one another. Additionally, she notes that her Japanese American college roommate was encamped in California during the war. Osborn provides vivid descriptions of the sacrifices made by the civilians to support the men and women serving their country.
