Audio cassette from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during an incident report interview with a employee of a Minyards in Fort Worth Texas on April 23rd, 1987. The tape includes one track of audio that records a women talking to a male employee about an incident occurring in March of a grocery cart damaging a car in the parking lot.

Interview with Nan (Barbara) Alexander, a former model and executive at Neiman Marcus. Alexander discusses her background, beginning work in the fashion industry as a store model, her education, working as a sample model and "Girl Friday" at Howard Wolf Inc. in Fair Park, being a sportswear model at Neiman Marcus, the layout of the store, the apparel market, and the history of fashion in the DFW area.

Oral history interview with Doug Jeffcoats. Topics covered include his Baptist upbringing, his career at Louisiana Tech University and as a teacher, his enjoyment of the gay social scene in Dallas, being closeted as a teacher in Arlington, his volunteering with the AIDS Services Dinner Club, and the AIDS epidemic.

Oral history interview with Steve Atkinson. Topics covered include: his childhood in Keller, Texas and his relationship with his family, his coming out as gay after a brief marriage to a woman, his views on religion and spirituality, and his volunteer work for Dallas LGBTQ organizations.

Oral history interview with Carol A. West. Topics covered include her childhood in Irving, Texas and her career as a teacher and then as a pastor. The interview was conducted in a public place, possibly a coffee shop, and there is a lot of background noise.

The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with John G. Solis of Irving, Texas. He discusses enlisting in the U.S. Navy on September 17, 1942, and was sent to the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas for bootcamp. In bootcamp Mr. Solis talks about learning to shoot rifles by shooting clay pigeons and presentations held to teach how to identify enemy aircraft. While learning to fly, Mr. Solis was assigned to Bombing Squadron 1. In 1944 Mr. Solis ended up with the Torpedo Squadron 100 flying torpedo planes in Oahu, Hawaii. His squadron never saw combat, but he did witness U.S. ships getting destroyed by Kamikaze planes during the Okinawa invasion. He helped in some Naval strikes in Japan from March to June of 1945 before returning to the states for leave. Mr. Solis was still at home on leave when the war officially ended, and he was discharged on September 14th of 1948 due to signing up for a 6-year contract instead of the normal 4-year one.
