Dinner dress of cotton voile printed with sprays of miniature pink and yellow roses on pale pink background. A) Dress. Semi-fitted bodice with moderate V-neckline bound with pink satin ribbon. Short, gathered, puffed sleeves with pink satin bound openings. Smocking across the shoulders with the fullness releasing over the bust. Four short tucks across the center back neckline. The bodice fullness gathers slightly into the natural waist seam. Left side seam zipper closure from below the bust line to hip level. Floor length, six panel, gored skirt with pink satin ribbon bound hem. Self fabric inner supports for the puffed sleeve caps. The waist seam is reinforced with a backing of twill tape. Homemade. B) Belt of matching fabric with functional oval, covered buckle.

Lace negligee

Ivory silk crepe chiffon negligee. Semi-fitted bodice with deep plunging V-neckline. Short set-in sleeves. Five rows of tight smocking across the shoulders and extending down the sleeves. The bodice fullness gathers below the bust line into a wide waistband. The waistband is made of three 2" bands of ivory cotton lace. The waistband dips slightly at the center back point. Center front opening along the waistband with thirteen loops and lace covered shank buttons as the closures. Full. gathered. four panel. ankle-length skirt with turned hem. No label. Ivory chiffon covered shoulder pads.

Silk nightgown

White bias cut silk nightgown. Semi-fitted. sleeveless. empire bodice with open rounded neckline. The neckline and armholes are scalloped and finished with pale gray satin-stitching. The bodice front has three scalloped cut-outs backed with nylon net. The areas surrounding the cut-outs are embroidered with small gray flower and dot clusters. The bodice gathers under the bust line into the curved empire seam. Waist ties at the side seams that tie center back. Ankle-length. bias cut skirt with rolled hem. Label stitched inside center back. below the neckline.

Slip

Knee-length. princess-line. white cotton. camisole slip. Shaped neckline with eyelet trim and eyelet shoulder straps. The shoulder straps' eyelet is stitched over white cotton twill tape. Princess-line six panel shell with turned hem. There is a 4" wide flounce of eyelet lace applied 4" above the hemline. The initials "B.H." are written in brown ink inside the back neckline. below the right shoulder strap. The slip is homemade and appears to be a petticoat from 1910-1915 that has been altered and remade.
