They are all dressed up, the women wearing long dresses or skirts and the man wearing a three-piece suit, and the boy at center wearing a nice jacket. All wear hats. The photograph is mounted to gray cardstock with a stamp at the lower left corner reading "Judson McClure, / Mineral Wells Texas,." On the back is a handwritten inscription, "Dr. F. D. Emery / August 1901."

Photograph of five people mounted on donkeys in a rocky outcrop with a rocky mountain wall behind them. They are all dressed up, the women wearing long dresses or skirts and the man wearing a three-piece suit, and the boy at center wearing a nice jacket. All wear hats except the man, whose hat has fallen on the ground, and the boy who holds his hat. The photograph is mounted on black cardstock which has an imprint in gold on the lower left corner that reads, "Photo Car / H. Clark / Mineral Wells, / Texas." On the back is an inscription naming the individuals from right to left: "Annie Emery - Dr. J. W. Allen - Paul Emery - Dr. F.D. Emery - ?" There is also a large imprint on the back for the Weatherford, Mineral Wells & Northwestern Railway.

They sit in a row on rocks and a fallen tree trunk in a rocky outcrop, each dressed nicely and with hats in their laps, except for Dr. J. W. Allen whose hat is on his donkey's head behind them. All look face forward except for Dr. J. W. Allen who looks towards Dr. Frances Daisy Emery Allen. The camera in his lap also faces her. Five donkeys stand behind the group. The photograph is mounted on gray cardstock which has a stamp at the lower left corner reading, "Judson McClure / Mineral Wells Texas,." A very faint inscription on the back reads, "Mrs. C. Emery."
