Letter from John B. Henderson to I. H. Kempner thanking him for sending him Kempner's copy of "Select Letters of Harris Kempner" and updating him on who he was and was not able to talk to. Henderson also requested any "records, files, or correspondence" relating to Texas history that Kempner found that should be kept for preservation and study. These are the blueprints of the restoration of the Legation de France, now the French Legation Museum maintained by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. The architectural renderings were drawn in white on three sheets, each of which is labeled in part of the title box at the bottom of every page (in the lower right corner).
