Message from José González to to all citizens of Laredo saying that the killing of cattle is forbidden. The document itself has numerous stains dotted all throughout the pages.

Request made by José Fernando Vidaurri to finance the purchase of cattle with his ranch. According to the governor's response, this request was granted.

Message from Viceroy Juan Vicente Güemez citing a decree from December 22, 1789 that says no land transactions which are illegal should be recorded.

Document from José González repeating orders that no one is allowed to make cigarettes for sale. The document has a number of small stains and a piece of tape running down the left side of the paper.

Message from Manuel de Escandón saying that no peace should be made with the Indians once a war has begun. The document has multiple signatures from Spanish officials acknowledging their having received the message.

Copy of the original inventory of documents sent from the Governor of Nuevo Santander to the chief official in Laredo. The original document is addressed to Claudio Lacomba and is sent from Manuel Muñoz.

Decree from the Conde de la Sierra Gorda saying that government employees are not allowed to marry persons within their jurisdiction. The document itself has a few stains, tears along the edges of the paper and a hole in the middle.

Order from José de Jesús de la Garza in La Villa de San Augusin de Laredo, saying to keep criminals penned up and under control.

Message from the Conde de la Sierra Gorda stating that Commander General Ramón Castro has political authority in the provinces under his care.

Petition from José Damián Martínez to the Governor of Nuevo Santander asking for justice in affairs relating to his work on the hacienda. The document has a large stain on the bottom of the paper and slight tears on the sides.

Printed decree from Viceroy Güemez saying that amnesty on contraband from the previous March is extended to include violations regarding forbidden beverages. The document has handwritten signatures from Spanish officials acknowledging receipt of the decree.

Compilation of decrees and laws regarding "aguardiente" from the Viceroy de la Grúa Talamanca. The document has pieces of tape holding together four pieces of the larger decree.

Announcement from the Conde de la Sierra Gorda saying that Don Felix Catlya to inspect all militia, and orders the roads repaired and a census of each town taken according to a given formula he presents. The document itself has tears on the right page and has stains on each page.
