The photograph is mounted on a tan board which has the Swartz photographer imprint, handwriting that reads: "2nd row - 5th from right / Dr. James Walter Allen / father of Frances & Sheila Allen." A strip of paper affixed to the board with printed text reads: "Medical Department, Fort Worth University, Jan 15, / 1898. James Walter Allen appears in second row, fifth / from right. He graduated that May." The tan board is mounted to a white board.

Photograph album chronicling Annie Belle Emery Bright, Frances Marion Allen, and Sheila Emery Allen's Mediterranean cruise trip. The women visited ruins, religious sites, and public markets. Places visited include Serbia, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jerusalem, Turkey, Greece, and Spain. Most of the photographs are labeled with typed strips of paper.

Photograph album documenting the Allen Family road trip to visit the Berg Family in Illinois. Dr. Frances Daisy Emery Allen, Frances Marion Allen, Sheila Emery Allen, Annie Belle Emery Bright, and Sue Lottie Emery traveled together by car. Several of their overnight stops were at outdoor campsites. Many of the photographs are labeled with white handwritten inscriptions.

Album contains floor plans and exterior photographs of apartment properties in Southside Fort Worth that were leased by the Management Company of Texas. Images and blueprints include: 212 W. Mounted photograph of the front of a house with various women and children posing on the porch and front steps, the front yard, and the second floor balcony. Handwritten blue and black ink inscriptions below the image read: "(Annie, Daisy, Lottie Emery.) 415 Wheeler St. (now College Ave.) Bertha Preuitt, Sybil Wilson, Lois Wilson holding Aline, Fannie with Paul, Bess Wilson, and Grandmother Emery (Dr. D. Emery Allen's mother.) It was at this home I hung out my 'shingle' 1897."The recto bottom left corner of the mount is missing and the mount has overall abrasions and staining. There are water stains running along the recto bottom of the mount and extending partway up the front right edge. Brown adhesive stains are visible along all four verso edges.

C., Mrs. Venth & Sheila Allen with dogs." The image on the right shows a group portrait of eight young women in formal dress posing with stringed instruments. An inscription on the verso of the original frame read "String Group, Acc. - Virfian England [Este], Sheila Allen." A handwritten inscription in pencil on the verso top left reads "Mrs. G. W. Parker, 2432 Colonial Park, Ft. Worth, Texas, 76160, 375-7149."

On the back is an inscription naming the individuals from right to left: "Annie Emery - Dr. J. W. Allen - Paul Emery - Dr. F.D. Emery - ?" There is also a large imprint on the back for the Weatherford, Mineral Wells & Northwestern Railway.
