[Maggie Hale, Village Creek School]

Photograph of Maggie Hale visible from the chest up. she wears a dark blouse covered in a small floral pattern, and has a pocket watch clipped to her lapel. Her hair is curled in rows tight to her head, and a ribbon is tied around her collar with a bow at the back. The photograph is a diamond shape and is mounted to a cream colored diamond shaped board. The inscription on the back of the board reads, "Maggie Hale / Maggie Hale / Village Creek School / 1898."

[Emanuel Hebrew Rest Cemetery]

Photograph of the 1898 funeral of David Linsky (1850-1898) at Emanuel Hebrew Rest Cemetery in the 1400 block of S. Main Street in Fort Worth. Many horse-drawn buggies and drivers surround the cemetery, which is on a dirt street two miles south of downtown. Linsky, 48, was a member of Woodmen of the World, a fraternal lodge which provided the tombstone for his grave.

[Fort Worth University Medical Department]

Photograph of the Fort Worth University Medical Department taken outside of a brick building. The group is arranged in six rows with the front row seated on a step. The group is mostly men all wearing dark suites, with some wearing or holding hats. Handwriting in ink on the photograph indicates four individuals including Dr. Allen, Barber, Wilson, and Y---. The photograph is mounted on a tan board which has the Swartz photographer imprint, handwriting that reads: "2nd row - 5th from right / Dr. James Walter Allen / father of Frances & Sheila Allen." A strip of paper affixed to the board with printed text reads: "Medical Department, Fort Worth University, Jan 15, / 1898. James Walter Allen appears in second row, fifth / from right. He graduated that May." The tan board is mounted to a white board.

Photograph of the Harris family posed on their property, with four women and a young boy in light colored shirt and dresses on the left, and seven other members mostly in darker clothing on the right. A dark and light patched dog is vsible in the bottom right corner, and a house with a steep-pitched roof and scalloped trim on its porch is visible in the background, along with windmill to the back left. A printed label adhered to the bottom edge of the photo mat reads, "Mr Ruben seated fought in Confederate army, name is on monument in Goldthwaite Picture taken about 1898 in North Bennet Community, Mills Co, TX". Names of the family members are written on the back.
