First St. John's church building made of stucco walls, and shingled roof. The, covered front vestibule has double front doors with arch at the top. The trees surrounding the church are leafless. The building is located at 235 W. Duffy. Information on back of photo states church had been remodeled in 1922 and again 1928 by Bishop Casady who called the church "St. John's University Church."

Red brick building with white eaves, guttering and window frames. There is front window extension with a large wood cross. A white sign with black lettering "THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF THE HOLY APOSTLE," and asphalt parking area is in foreground. The church was formed in mid 1960's. The building was built in 1966 which connects to the parish hall. The church closed around 2009.
