Describes the records of the County Commissioners Court, County Clerk as Recorder, District Court, County Court, Justices of the Peace, District Attorney, County Attorney, Sheriff, Constables, Tax Assessor-Collector, Board of Equalization, County Treasurer, County Board of School Trustees, County School Superintendent, County Health Officer, County Surveyor, Coroner (Defunct), and Inspector of Hides and Animals (Defunct). Includes a bibliography as well as chronological and subject indexes.

Photographic reproduction of a landscape drawing by Hermann Lungwitz of a man looking over a landscape, with a forest between a field of cattle and a town. Note on the back reads. "Panoramic view of the City of Friederichsburg [sic] Texas presented to Texas State Archives by Ralph Bickler. Hermann Lungkwitz, grandfather (maternal) of Ralph Bickler. This was a pencil sketch made at the request of the Dresden Museum of Germany. It was made 1853-54-55 or 1856, the date is not known for sure. The museum made a litho plate (probably stone) and sent lithograph copies back to Friederichburg."

The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Floyd C. Cox. He tells of organizing a group of volunteers to establish a formal oral history program. Cox also shares the growth of the program from an unorganized collection of less than 200 oral histories in 1999 to an organized and diversified collection of over 5000 stories in 2022. He tells of the progression from analog tape recordings to digital recordings and the advancement of making the collection available to the public through an online digital archive.
