Clippings and other documents during this year include minutes and information on the organization of the Abilene Fine Arts Museum and a copy of the constitution for the Fine Arts Association, including the by-laws, and financial records from 1939 to 1956. A collection listing from 1937 to 1957 of the art works purchased or donated to the museum and the prices paid is also in the book.
