Photograph of a presentation at a performance during the tour. Members of the band can be seen at an outdoor venue, seated at their music stands holding instruments while an older man and a younger man stands at front, holding what appears to be a record. Based on banner on microphone, this may be at Puebla, Mexico. Above can be seen an audience standing at the railings of the balcony of an upper floor. This is one of a series of photographs taken during the One O’Clock Lab Band’s tour to Mexico, January 26 to February 21, 1967. The United States Department of State sponsored the tour, and the band traveled as representatives of the United States. Directed by Leon Breeden, the 20 member band and their guests vocalist Carol Lurie and pianist-organist Linda De Leon, toured for 26 days, giving 19 scheduled concerts and two impromptu shows at venues throughout Mexico.

Seven New White-winged Doves from Mexico, Central America, and Southwestern United States
Seven new subspecies of the white-winged dove (Zenaida asiatica) are described. The patterns of these recoveries are an invaluable aid to understanding racial distribution of this species. The extent of migration that breed in Central America is not yet adequately known. The range of the doves extends as far north as the southwestern United States.
