Dr. Stewart is professor in the School of Education and Tri-Chair of the Student Affairs in Higher Education program at Colorado State University. Over the course of zir 17-year faculty career, ze has focused most intently on issues of race and ethnicity, sexuality, and gender, as well as religion, faith, and spirituality in their research, teaching, and service to professional organizations and institutions across the nation. In this session, Dr. Stewart speaks on navigating privilege and marginalization in building social justice competence.

Communication Skills for the 21st Century

Coursebook developed for pre-intermediate to intermediate English language learners. The course focuses on improving students' reading, listening and speaking skills. There is a focus on teaching discreet skills such as main idea, supporting details, making inferences, identifying referents and using context clues while reading.
