Interview with Louis Belk, a B-17 Waist Gunner who served with the U.S. Army Air Corps (Air Force) in World War II from San Antonio, Texas. Belk describes his time training in Texas and experiences serving in England. He also talks about what it was like returning home to the United States from the war.

A book complied by Ruth Leslie Barrett detailing the history of five generations of a single Leslie family line beginning in America with George Leslie (1734-1775). Chapters describe the Leslie origins in Scotland, biographical information on George Leslie, Samuel Leslie , James Leslie, and John T. Leslie, as well as the kinsmen of Agnes Allison Leslie, and E. The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with Edward Nielsen from Medaryville, Indiana. He discusses undergoing Amry training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, before being assigned as B Company of the 69th Army Regiment at Fort Knox as a private. Afterwards he got lucky and was assigned to drive a truck from Louisiana to North Carolina, Mr. Nielsen describes this as the best job he ever had in the Army. After Pearl Harbor he is transferred to the 1st Armored Division and Regiment, 2nd Battalion. He was then transported from fort Knox to Ireland then to England for a short time before being shipped out to Oran in North Africa. On the way to Oran, the ship he was on was almost hit by a missile shot by a German U-boat, but it instead hit another ship that was nearby. By the time Mr. Nielsen reached Oran he was a segreant Tank Commander. He also relays a time he warned his Company Commander about German Tiger Tanks being in their area and being ignored only for them to show up a few days later resulting in one captain deserting and being captured by German soldiers. A book complied by Ruth Leslie Barrett detailing the history of immigrant Richard Fenner and his son Robert Fenner and one line of his descendants: Robert Fenner, Jr., Joseph F. Fenner, and Lucy Fenner Leslie, the mother of Samuel Fenner Leslie. The texts includes information about Fenner family children, kin, and the family of their spouses as well as family military service spanning from the American Revolutionary War to the Spanish American War. Each chapter has a narrative, notes, sources, and appendices.

"Leftwich's Grant is the second volume in a series that is intended to document the colonization of an area in Central Texas that eventually became known as Robertson's Colony." It covers "the three years that [Robert] Leftwich spent in Mexico City and Saltillo" and includes "a complete account of his official negotiations with both the national government in Mexico City and the state government of Coahuila and Texas. It also includes documents concerning Dr. Felix Robertson, President of the Texas Association, and the group of young men who came to Texas with him in the fall of 1825 to explore the grant and survey land for the stockholders" (p. 11).
