Full skirt gathers into waistline seam; front waistline darts; slight trained lining. Center back invisible zipper. B) Contour belt of self fabric. Leather backing. Oval-shaped buckle of clear and brown heavy glass.

Cocktail dress of black synthetic (rayon/nylon) net over pale pink lining. Wide round neckline; sleeveless upper bodice of plain net with 1/2" ruffle trim at neckline and armholes. Main bodice and knee-length flared skirt have black floral embroidery and beads. Center back zipper closure.

Evening gown of black loosely pleated net with black beads and sequins scattered throughout. Strapless, fitted bodice. Long, full skirt with diamond shaped clusters of beads and sequins with long, thin black feathers spraying out from the center. Attached underskirt of transparent black stiffened fabric with 7" supported hem and two layers of black net skirts under top skirt. Left side zip closure. Bodice lined in black satin, with boning.

Suit of blue felted wool. A). Jacket. Round neckline/collar. Center front hidden button closure under placket; Side seam to arm with pockets along seam. Dolman sleeves with gusset and 2" rolled cuffs. Center back seam. Unlined. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Oscar de la Renta" B). Skirt; a-line; side closure; knee length. 3/4" waistband with left-side zipper with hook-and-bar and hook-and-eye. Lined in gray silk.

Suit of gray-blue soft felted wool. A) Jacket. High V-neckline; center front closure with 5 circular buttons covered with felted wool. Long sleeves. All-over embroidery design of scrolls and abstract forms done in a raised "loop" bouclé stitch and outlined in a very thin silver chain stitch. Unlined. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Oscar de la Renta" B) Skirt of matching gray-blue fabric without embroidery. Knee length, very slight A-line; narrow waist band; waist darts. False welt pockets. Left side zipper with hook-and-eye at waistband. Center back seam; back waist darts. Lined in blue/gray organdy(?)

I have always believed the design of clothes should not try to conceal the naked body but should act as a catalyst that reveals the existence and strength of the individual. Spring Message includes three phases, Spring Message, Mystification, and My Paradise to reflect my three life experiences. Spring Message is an attempt to express my thoughts and ideas though designs in fashion, which were derived from the ancient beliefs, traditions, and western influence I have experienced. Through my individual pieces and creations I hope the viewer will be able to see who I am, where I came from, and understand the happiness and changes in my life.
