Dress of black twill, open neckline, short cap sleeves, empire waistline with attached tie belt and bow of self trimming gathering, with a second attached tie belt with bow at front and attaching a panel at back, straight silhouette, back neckline with tie bow of self.

Ensemble. A) Top of blue knit. Square neckline, short sleeves. Center back zipper. No labels in top. B) Skirt of white straw, pale gray/blue velvet, and multi-colored brocade ribbon with pale blue ground. Street length, horizontally striped, alternating the various materials. Zipper. Attached velvet "tie" for waist. Lined No labels.

Dress of black wool with leather trim. Standup collar trimmed in snaps. Front leather trimmed opening with 5 self-covered snaps. Detachable front skirt panel topped in black leather trim and secured with 5 self-covered snaps. Bracelet length sleeves trimmed with snaps at cuff. Back zipper. Fully lined in black satin. Handwritten label on inside back seam: "Pierre Balmain Fall 1955"

Child's sundress of horizontally striped blue, brown, and white cotton de-lusted satin. Rounded neckline, higher in front than back; sleeveless. Neckline and armholes piped in matching blue fabric. Left side closure with five buttons. Full skirt, gathered at waistline with blue piping. Tie belt of same fabric attached at sides and ties in back. Upper bodice lined in cream colored muslin.

Day dress of gray silk douppoini. Straight silhouette that falls loose in back. Elbow length set-in sleeves. Jewel neckline with placket that runs around neckline and down center front opening with 4 self covered buttons and bound buttonholes supplemented with a snap at the neckline. Street length. Back lined in gray silk. b) Slide belt of white crushed leather with oval buckle covered in self. Belt fits into slits at side seams of dress so that back hangs loose and is belted across front.

Evening ensemble of green and gold brocade in chrysanthemum floral design. A) Over dress in sheath style. Sleeveless; below knee length. High squared neckline. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Bodice lined in emerald green satin. B) Under dress with beige fabric upper and full length skirt of matching brocade. Skirt has slight pleated train. Unlined. Designer's label at center seam: "Irene / Exclusively for / Neiman-Marcus / Dallas" Retailer's label with designer label: "Neiman-Marcus"

Blue band waistband into which vertically striped blue and white is gathered. Center-back opening with four circular buttons. Waistband ties at back. Maker's label inside collar: "Youngland" b) Matching cap of solid blue, "baby bonnet" style with long ties for under chin. Lined in white organdy. No labels in cap.
